About Frank Pizzo
Born September 13, 1962 in Brooklyn, New York, Frank has been a Tom Hanks
look-a-like since 1997. He was discovered by Joseph Manuella, who is a Robert
DeNiro look-a-like and stunt double. Manuella, who doubled for DeNiro in The Fan
and Great Expectations, saw Frank in the World Financial Center in New York and
advised him to join the look-a-like business. Since then, Frank has been told
many times he resembles the two-time, back-to-back Oscar winner, Tom Hanks.
Strangers have approached him on the street to tell him of his uncanny
resemblance to Tom Hanks.
Frank has done numerous charity events, including Heart Share Foundation and
Comic Relief Charity for Children. He has worked for People Profile Magazine
when they first featured Tom Hanks on their cover. Frank was a guest at the Max
Frankston Film celebrity party and featured in the book, Show Time, written by
Bea Fogelman. He has also appeared on the Fox 5 & Friends show for Celebrity
look-a-likes.
